Hidden Gem

Energy sits at the cornerstone of some of the world's biggest problems and solutions, and the US is uniquely positioned to continue powering the world towards a cleaner future given the resilient innovation, affordability, and scalability of the renewables market we've built.

In my role as Senior Associate of M&A, I am responsible for lead generation, project-level diligence, financial modeling, and contract negotiations for strategic asset acquisitions.

Prior to joining Onyx, I worked in solar project finance at Sunwealth Power, Inc, raising and structuring capital across corporate and project-level transactions, managing investor relationships, optimizing internal financial workflows and credit analysis, and leading due diligence processes. I’ve led capital formation efforts such as Project Polo—Sunwealth's Department of Energy (DOE) sponsored loan for distributed solar and solar plus storage and VPP aggregation software—and played a key role in the successful execution of portfolio financing with construction and tax equity bridge loans. The integrated approach to capital formation in renewables and impact-driven investing deeply resonates with me: grasping the solar economy in all its depth and complexities is a challenge which excites me, as I enjoy problem-solving and the ever-changing nature of financial markets.
