Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for general reporting of lead generation progress to Onyx leadership, project equity investors and lenders. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow with the renewable energy industry.
Job Location
Midtown NYC office. 3 days per week hybrid schedule required.
Responsibilities
- Create client presentation and pitch materials
- Edit and run project financial models
- Professionally represent Onyx Renewables and its products in the market
- Conduct market analysis and policy research to assist with lead generation strategy
- Conduct energy rate analysis
- Create business cases for on-site renewable energy and community solar projects
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Asset Management and Finance to estimate model inputs and project assumptions.
- Prospecting/outreach to potential customers
- Assist with the drafting of RFP and RFQ responses
- Assemble varied bid/pitch documents for stakeholders of project opportunities
- Create meeting agendas and providing meeting minutes for team members
- Attend customer meetings, site walks, conferences, and other company activities.
Qualifications
- Strong desire and enthusiasm to work in commercial & industrial renewable energy
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to identify problems and discrepancies, independently perform research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Must be detail and results-oriented with an ability to work in a cross-functional, fast paced, and constantly evolving environment
- Ability to evaluate priorities and multi-task while keeping others apprised of progress and deadlines
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Curious with a willingness to learn and implement new products and services in an evolving clean energy industry
- Mindful, accountable, responsible, respectful and collaborative approach to work
